Community Guidelines (Zero Tolerance Policy)

To maintain a safe and authentic community, Hoco enforces a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable or abusive content and conduct.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using the Hoco app or website (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Homecoming, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is truthful and accurate.

You may only use the Platform for lawful purposes directly related to housing, sublets, and roommate connections. You agree not to:

If you encounter objectionable content or abusive behavior, you may report it using in-app reporting tools on profiles, messages, and listings. We review and take appropriate action within 24 hours, which may include content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We may take action at our sole discretion to protect our community and the integrity of the Platform.

6. Safety, Housing, and Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and for complying with local, state, and federal laws, including landlord/tenant, subletting, and fair housing regulations, as well as any applicable lease terms. Exercise caution when meeting others in person and conduct your own due diligence before entering into any arrangement.

7. No Guarantee, Vetting, or Endorsement

Homecoming, LLC does not screen, vet, or endorse users, listings, or housing opportunities. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or suitability of any listing, profile, or user. Users are responsible for verifying information independently.

8. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Homecoming, LLC is not liable for any damages, claims, or disputes arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, engage in objectionable, abusive, or illegal conduct, or post fraudulent or misleading content.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, trademarks, and design elements of the Platform are the exclusive property of Homecoming, LLC. You may not copy, use, or reproduce any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

11. No Warranty

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or complete security of the Platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
